Frequently Asked Questions

Last Updated: October 14, 2026

Everything you need to know before you start playing. The legal detail lives in the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy — those are the actual rules, and if anything here doesn’t match them, they win.

Still stuck? Write to support@aiatlant.com. A human answers.

1. The Game

1.1 What is this, exactly?

A game you play by typing. You talk to AI characters, make choices, and the AI writes what happens next — the story, how people react, what it costs you, and the read on you at the end. No dice, no menus, no grinding. Just the conversation.

1.2 What can I play?

Three modes:

  • AI Adventures — open-world text RPG. Go anywhere, try anything, break the plot on purpose. The AI builds the story around whatever you decide.

  • AI Puzzles — detective sessions. Question AI witnesses, catch them contradicting themselves, work out what actually happened.

  • AI Tests — you answer in your own words, and the AI tells you what it noticed: your strengths, your patterns, the way you handle things.

All three read how you actually play. Not what you tick in a questionnaire.

1.3 Is the personality read actually accurate?

People say it lands uncomfortably close. But it’s entertainment: the AI is reading patterns in how you write, not running a clinical assessment. It isn’t a psychologist, a doctor, or a career coach, so don’t make real decisions about your health, your job, or your relationships on the strength of it.

1.4 Do I need to download anything?

No. It runs in your browser at aiatlant.com.

1.5 What languages can I play in?

English. The games — scenarios, characters, and the AI’s replies — are in English only.

The rest of the site — menus, buttons, and our legal documents — is also available in German, Spanish, French, and Italian. Switch it at the top of the site. Support may reply in English. If a translation ever contradicts the English, the English wins.

1.6 Does the game change over time?

Constantly. We add modes, swap scenarios, and retire the ones that don’t work. If something you loved disappears, tell us — that’s how it comes back.

2. Your Account

2.1 How old do I have to be?

  1. Not a suggestion — by playing, you’re confirming it. The AI improvises, and it can go dark, weird, or badly wrong with no warning. That’s not a game for kids, and AI chatbots like ours may not be suitable for some minors.

What 18+ doesn’t mean here: porn. This isn’t an adult-content service. Sexually explicit material is against the rules, and steering the AI toward it can cost you the account. The age gate is about dark subject matter and about a game that reads you — not about erotica.

If we find out an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it and delete what’s in it.

2.2 How do I sign up?

Email and a password, or one tap with Google or Discord. More options may show up later.

2.3 What does Google or Discord tell you about me?

Whatever that service hands over when you sign in — it depends on the provider and on what you agreed to there. What they do on their end is their rules, not ours.

2.4 Who’s responsible for what happens on my account?

You are. Keep your password to yourself, don’t use anyone else’s account, and don’t go poking at our security. Anything done through your account counts as you.

2.5 How do I delete my account for good?

Two ways: the Delete account button in your profile, or a line to support@aiatlant.com from your account address. Either works.

Your games and your personal data get deleted, or stripped of anything that points to you, within a reasonable time, and anything you’d shared comes down with them. Any Neurons left on your balance go too, for good. Two honest caveats: a few records we have to hang on to for legal and security reasons, and old backups take a while to roll over before you’re gone from those too.

3. The AI

3.1 Is a real person writing back?

No. It’s AI models we access through third-party providers. Nobody is behind the curtain typing.

3.2 The AI said something completely unhinged. Is it broken?

Probably not — that’s just what these models do sometimes. Generated text can be wrong, repetitive, weirdly out of character, or straight-up offensive. Treat it as a story, not as facts. If a scenario breaks properly or a character goes somewhere it really shouldn’t, report it and we’ll look.

3.3 Why does it feel different from last month?

Because we changed models. Speed, writing style, and how stubborn a character is can all shift when we do. If it got worse, tell us — genuinely useful feedback.

3.4 Is my story one of a kind?

Nobody played it the way you did. But we can’t promise the text itself is unique — two players with similar prompts can get similar scenes. We also can’t promise AI-written text counts as copyrighted work: the law hasn’t settled that, and it depends on how much of the writing is actually yours.

3.5 Who owns what I write?

You do, as far as it was yours to begin with. Your prompts, your messages, your characters stay yours — we don’t take ownership of them.

To run the game you give us a licence to store and process them: we save your history, send your words to the model to get a reply, build your analysis, and run the features you ask for. The same licence covers keeping the service secure, stopping fraud and abuse, and complying with the law. That’s the whole list, and it doesn’t make your writing ours. What the AI writes back is a different question — see 3.4. And your password and card details never go anywhere near the AI.

3.6 Do you train AI on my chats?

No. We don’t train models on your prompts, your conversations, or your games, and we don’t sell them.

We pay for commercial API access, and under those terms what we send isn’t used to train the provider’s models. The provider may keep it on their side for a limited time to catch abuse, or for disclosures the law requires of them. Past their published terms, what happens inside their systems isn’t something we can vouch for, and we won’t pretend otherwise.

3.7 What if I’m not okay?

Say it — in the game or out of it. If you tell the AI you’re thinking about suicide or hurting yourself, it’s instructed to pause the story, answer as itself rather than as a character, and point you to free, confidential help that’s open 24/7: in the US, call or text 988 (988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline); in the UK and Ireland, call Samaritans on 116 123; anywhere else, findahelpline.com lists lines in your country. If you’re in immediate danger, call your local emergency number — 911 in the US, 999 in the UK.

The story picks up again only when you say you want to go on, and your analysis won’t treat those words as a personality trait. The AI is also instructed never to describe ways to hurt yourself, never to encourage it, and never to turn it into a choice or a way to win — for you or for any character. If it can’t tell whether it’s you talking or your character, it checks in anyway.

It’s an AI, not a counselor or a crisis service, and it can get this wrong. If it does, write to support@aiatlant.com.

4. Your Games

4.1 Can other players see my games?

No. Every game you play sits in your account and nobody else sees it — there’s no public feed you get dropped into and no way for another player to stumble across your story. See 4.3.

4.2 Do you read my chats?

We can. Here’s the honest version.

Everything you type is stored on our side. That’s what lets a story pick up where you left it, and it’s what your analysis is built from — the read on you comes out of the actual conversation, so the conversation has to be there. It isn’t anonymous and it isn’t locked away from us.

Our team can open a conversation when there’s a reason to: something broke and we’re fixing it, you wrote to support, someone reported abuse, there’s a security problem or a legal request, or it looks like the rules got broken. Automated systems watch for abuse the rest of the time.

What we don’t do: browse your stories for fun, publish them or hand them to other players ourselves — that’s your call and only yours (see 4.3) — sell them, or train AI models on them.

4.3 Can I share my games or my analysis?

Not yet. There’s no share button right now — your games and your reads stay in your account.

When sharing arrives, it’ll be your call, session by session, and we’ll tell you exactly what goes out with it before you hit the button.

4.4 Does the AI actually remember my story?

Yes. Your conversations, history, and characters stay put for as long as your account is alive, so the adventure you abandoned last month is still there with its memory intact. Nothing gets wiped on a timer.

4.5 Can I use ChatGPT to play for me?

You can, but it won’t count for anything. A result you got with an outside AI, a bot, a script, or someone else playing your account doesn’t qualify you for anything and doesn’t go into any ranking or leaderboard. Same for a second account you keep for another run at the same thing. When we spot it, the result comes out; when it keeps happening, so does the account.

It isn’t a rule for the sake of one. The read on you is built out of how you write — feed it someone else’s text and what you get back is an accurate read on someone else. And a leaderboard full of scripts isn’t worth standing on.

The AI you’re talking to inside the game is a different thing entirely. That’s the game. It’s the help on your side of the conversation that doesn’t count.

4.6 Can I see my past games?

Yes. In your profile, under Game history, there’s every game you’ve finished — won or lost — with the date and how many moves it took. Open one and you get the whole conversation back, along with how it ended. Games stay there for as long as your account does. Want one gone? Email privacy@aiatlant.com from your account address and tell us which. Delete your account and the whole history goes with it.

5. Paying

5.1 Is it free?

Partly. Some features cost money, and you see the price before you buy. Nothing charges you by surprise.

5.2 Is my card safe?

We never see it. Payments go through Stripe: checkout is Stripe’s, and the sale itself is made by Link, Stripe’s payment company — that’s why checkout says “Sold through Link”. We get told that a payment happened, how much, and whether it worked. Not your card number.

5.3 How do subscriptions work?

There aren’t any right now. If we add them, you’ll see the price, how often it bills, and how to cancel before you sign up — and you’ll be able to stop renewals from the app or through the payment provider.

5.4 Can I get a refund?

Bought a package and haven’t touched it? Ask and we’ll refund it in full, tax included.

Spent even one credit out of it? Then no. Not part of it, not the unspent rest — the purchase stops being refundable the moment the first credit goes, and there’s no case-by-case exception behind that. So decide before you start, not after.

On top of all that you keep whatever refund rights the law where you live gives you, and those we can’t take away. Link, which takes the payment for us, can also refund under its own policy.

Payment went wrong? Email support@aiatlant.com and we’ll sort it — or use the Link support link in your receipt.

5.5 Why does my statement say LINK.COM?

That’s us. Payments run through Link, Stripe’s payment company, so the charge shows up as LINK.COM* AIATLANT or something close. Your receipt comes from Link too. Don’t recognize a charge? Email support@aiatlant.com before you call your bank — it’s faster.

5.6 Is tax included in the price?

Yes. The price you see is the price you pay — sales tax or VAT is already inside it, and Link handles paying it. Checkout may show the amount in your local currency. If your bank adds a foreign transaction fee, that one’s from your bank, not us.

5.7 Can I cash out Neurons or give them to someone?

No. Neurons only work inside AiAtlant. They aren’t money, can’t be turned back into cash, and can’t be moved to another account. The only way back to money is the refund in 5.4.

6. Privacy, Rules, and the Boring Bits

Short answers. Full versions in the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.

6.1 What data do you collect on me?

Your account details, everything in your games, payment records, and technical stuff — IP address, device, what you clicked, when. Full list: section 2 of the Privacy Policy.

6.2 What do you do with it?

Run the game, remember your progress, build your analysis, take payments, answer your emails, keep fraud and abuse out, and do what the law makes us do. That’s the lot.

6.3 Do you sell my data?

No. We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for targeted ads. Analytics cookies only switch on if you accept them in the banner — change your mind anytime through the "Cookies" link at the bottom of the page.

6.4 Cookies?

For analytics only. We use Google Analytics to see what gets used, what breaks, and what’s slow. It switches on only if you hit Accept in the banner. Then it sets two cookies (_ga and _ga_GWX1R8Z0T2) and sees which pages you open and what you do in the game — which game you started, whether you won, what you bought — but never what you type or what the AI writes back. Say no in the banner, change your mind later through the "Cookies" link at the bottom of the page, or block cookies in your browser.

Separately, the site keeps a few things in your browser so it works: that you’re logged in, your language, your cookie choice, and your free demo game, so it can be linked to your account when you log in. Cloudflare, which protects the site from attacks, may also set a security cookie to tell people from bots.

6.5 Can I see, download, or delete my data?

Yes. Fix your name or email and delete your account right in your profile. Want to see or download everything we hold on you? Email privacy@aiatlant.com from your account address and we’ll send you a copy. There’s nothing to opt out of on sales or targeted ads — we don’t do either. In California and other US states with privacy laws you get extra rights on top, and if we ever say no to a request, you can appeal by replying to us. We’re a UK company, so if you think we’ve mishandled your data you can also take it to the UK regulator, the Information Commission (formerly the ICO), at ico.org.uk.

6.6 How long do you keep it, and is it safe?

As long as we need it to run your account and the game, and longer where the law says so. We protect it with the usual technical and organisational measures. Nobody honest calls a system unbreakable, and we won’t either.

6.7 Can I stop the emails?

The marketing ones, yes — unsubscribe link in every one. You’ll still get the account ones: sign-ins, password changes, payments, security. Those aren’t optional.

6.8 What gets me banned?

Breaking the law, hacking at accounts or at the service, scams, malware, harassing other players, sexually explicit content, botting your way around limits, faking your way onto a leaderboard with outside AI or scripts, and pretending to be someone else or to be us. Full list: sections 9 and 10 of the Terms of Service. Where we reasonably can, we warn you first.

6.9 Is the game ever down?

Sometimes. AI providers, hosting, sign-in, and payment services all fall over occasionally, and we take it offline for maintenance. We aim for always-on and can’t promise it.

6.10 Who’s behind AiAtlant?

BOBERIUM LTD, company number 15022818, registered in England and Wales at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX. AiAtlant is its trading name. English law applies and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales — and if the consumer law where you live gives you rights that can’t be signed away, you keep them anyway.

6.11 I’m in the US. What happens if we end up in a fight?

You email us first and we get 30 days to fix it — most things end there. After that it goes to individual arbitration through the AAA rather than to court, and you give up class actions and jury trials. Small claims court is still open to you.

You can opt out of all of that within 30 days of signing up: email support@aiatlant.com with "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your account address. It costs nothing and changes nothing else. Full text: section 25 of the Terms of Service.

6.12 How do I reach an actual human?

support@aiatlant.com for anything, privacy@aiatlant.com for data requests.
